We are responsible for supporting students with a variety of issues, ranging from health and safety matters to financial and academic problems. At some point during their time here, most students will find themselves trying to deal with important concerns in an unfamiliar environment. Our role is to all graduate students in Lincoln to feel comfortable enough to address these concerns and to ensure that the appropriate information is available in case they need it.

We also supply students with material important for their safety and well-being. We can provide regular, ribbed or large condoms, lube, pregnancy tests and attack alarms. In case you need any of these, feel free to send us an e-mail or pidge us a note and the items will be discreetly pidged to you as soon as possible. It can be completely anonymous if you drop us a note in one of our pidges and we’ll put the items there ASAP for you to pick up. We also make sure condoms are available in the laundry rooms in Bear Lane and the EPA.

We also act as the Lincoln MCR link with the OUSU welfare and equality officers, student support services and the LGBTQ network. We try to keep the welfare resources in the MCR updated but don’t hesitate to contact us if there’s anything welfare-related that you’d like more info on.

Graduate life involves many commitments and it’s not rare for people to feel lost or lonely sometimes, so don’t feel embarrassed to contact us if you have any additional problems or questions. We are very approachable and can be reached quite easily, and we’re always happy to meet and talk.
